The Everlast Difference

Everlast is unlike any other siding you've considered, and the moment you see it, you'll know why. Solid construction means the planks don't bend or bow, and align perfectly against the outer walls of your home. Distinctive trim choices from the Everlast Trim Collection are made from the same polymeric material to ensure a look that perfectly blends with and naturally fits your Everlast cladding — providing you with one beautiful finish.

Everlast is made from a proprietry mixture of polymeric resin and granular stone giving it strength and durability without sacrificing beauty. Most importantly there is no wood in the product. Siding products with wood such as fiber cement, and pressed board are prone to fail when in contact with moisture.

Unlike other solid siding products, Everlast is lightweight and stackable for easy installation, yet durable enough to withstand fierce wind, scorching summer temperatures and subzero winter temperatures.

Finally, ease of care comes naturally with Everlast products. Easy-to-clean warm, low-gloss surface returns to original luster with a simple hose-down; stains like crayon, paint, and oil are removed easily with standard household cleaners (see warranty for complete cleaning instructions).

Whether you choose Everlast for its beauty, strength or ease of care, it's a choice you can make with confidence.

We're proud of our product and stand behind it for life. Everlast Polymeric Cladding is backed by a transferrable Lifetime Performance Warranty and Lifetime Fade Protection, thanks to our ColorHold® UV-stable acrylic polymer. In addition, Everlast is warranted against hail damage where your homeowner's insurance may not cover.

See the Difference.

Paint-Free / Solid Color

Unlike fiber cement which is just painted cement and sawdust, Everlast™ is solid colored and won't need painting unless you desire to change the color!

No Water Absorption or Pests

Fiber Cement and other wood based siding absorbs water which leads to rot and peeling paint. Everlast™, made from over 60% stone, has no wood fibers and won't rot--Guaranteed!

Thick Interlocking Planks

Everlast™ is 543% thicker than vinyl siding which is flimsy, brittle, and cracks easily.  Everlast's™ thick planks give it the appearance of real wood clapboard.

Realistic Woodgrain Texture

Made from impressions of real cedar siding, the beautifully embossed woodgrain texture is commonly mistaken for actual wood clapboard.

  • 100% Recyclable content
  • Natural polyermeric and inorganic mineral construction
  • No natural wood fibers depleting natural resources
  • No harmful silica dust created in cutting like some fiber cement siding products

At Norandex we understand the importance of taking care of the environment and conserving resources. Our Green Team is working every day to seek out green products that perform just as well, if not better, than their non-green counterparts.

Everlast Polymeric Cladding from Norandex one of the largest building product distribution companies in the United States. Everlast was in development for 7 years before being released to market in 2009 and is a leader in the next generation category of siding products. This patent pending formulation (resilient polymer base combined with inorganic mineral for long lasting durability) is finished with COLORHOLD, a UV-stable acrylic polymer with excellent fade-resistant properties and is crafted to exacting standards within an ANSI-accredited AAMA Certified facility. Here are the top 10 reasons to choose Everlast!

  1. Nothing man-made looks and feels more like real wood than Everlast. Rub your hand against the grain of our CedarTouch® natural wood-look embossing and you'll want to check your hand for splinters!
  2. It's called Everlast for a reason. Unsurpassed durability is achieved with a patent-pending polymeric formulation filled with tough inorganic minerals.Everlast withstands wind, hail, rain, snow, and literally anything nature or your family may throw its way! The color will stay as warm and fresh as the day it was first installed.
  3. With our ColorHold® UV stable acrylic polymer technology and Lifetime Fade Protection Warranty, you can rest assured that the color you choose today will remain bright and true for years to come.
  4. You'll never have to scrape, sand or paint again. Everlast is virtually maintenance free. All that's required is routine cleaning with a garden hose to keep it looking brand new; like freshly painted wood.
  5. It's safe. There is no harmful dust created when Everlast is cut, and you'll never need to use paints or stains, which can be harmful to the environment, in order to maintain its beauty.
  6. It will accentuate any style home. With its popular 7 inch exposure,Everlast can be trimmed out with matching Everlast trim, or you can create your own look using any variety of trim boards to give your home a special, personal touch.
  7. Whether you like bold, darker colors or soothing warm tones, Everlast comes in a broad color palette to suit your taste.
  8. You won't need a crew of weight-lifting Einstein's to install it! Everlast is very lightweight and easy to install. It's about 1/3 the weight of fiber cement siding, which puts less weight and strain on your walls. And with our EZStack system, there's no worry about installation errors that could create performance problems down the road.
  9. Everyone will love it — except termites, mold and carpenter ants! Everlast contains no wood fibers or any other material that will absorb moisture, encourage the growth of mold, or entice vermin to attack your home.
  10. Your neighbors will be envious! They'll notice the thick plank construction and know that you have discriminating taste and wouldn't settle for anything less than the finest materials on your home

Frequently Asked Questions

Everlast™ is made of a proprietary formula that is a composite of inorganic minerals/stone (giving it it's dimensional stability) and rigid polymeric resins. (over 60% stone, then mixed with resins)

Yes, because Everlast™ contains no materials that will absorb water, rot, or corrode, it can be installed direct to grade.

No. Everlast™ contains zero wood additives which mean it cannot absorb moisture or rot.

Everlast™ is installed end-to-end like cedar clapboard and not overlapped like vinyl siding. Everlast™ is installed over a weather resistive barrier. Like most building products, Everlast™ may expand and contract, but minimally. The climate, moisture level, and substrate to which the siding is installed may also play a roll in the amount of actual expansion/contraction. In some situations as much as a 1/8" gap is possible, though uncommon.

Yes, because of its pure acrylic capstock it is very compatible with exterior acrylic latex paints. The proper paint and primer information can be obtained if that is a route you wish to pursue. Please be advised, painting Everlast™ will void the ColorHold™ portion of the warranty.

Everlast™ is installed with carpentry methods in a similar fashion to cedar clapboard (except top nailed). The tools and skill set used for a cedar siding installation are recommended. A standard circular saw with a fine tooth/plywood blade works well for cutting. It can be hand nailed or systematically power nailed (gun nailed) much like wood or fiber cement with the proper psi and depth setting.

Everlast™ is available in 10 colors.

Everlast™ comes in a 7" exposure. Exposure is the vertical measurement or height of clapboard or lap siding that can be seen after installed.

Yes. Since the texture of Everlast™ is embossed from real cedar, most homeowners agree that Everlast™ has a very realistic wood grain. The thickness and bevel angle of Everlast™ are consistent with cedar clapboard.

No. Everlast™ is not painted and is warranted to never require painting. Please see complete warranty for details.

No, Everlast™ does not create any harmful silica dust when cut like some fiber cement siding products.
