We had our windows installed by BNW Builders in the fall of 2005 and they have not only saved us money, but they haved saved us time! As we were decorating our home for Christmas, it was so exciting when I went to put our Christmas wreaths up on our windows and didn't have to pull and pry to get our windows opened. Our new windows were so easy to open and close, it was quite a treat! I always dreaded doing that part of the decorating every year! Our home has felt a lot warmer this winter as these windows do a wonderful job keeping the cold air out. Provide a quality improvement at a fair price and complete the work in a timely manor. This included outsourcing a specific color that two other companies could not or would not do and they wanted more that 40% more to do the same repair. I received estimates from a number of siding providers before I met with Tim from BNW. Not only was BNW thousands less than other estimates, Tim understood exactly what I wanted to do with my house and was conscious of my need to stay on a tight budget. Tim shared a variety of options with and let me decide what worked for me. The siding looks simply amazing! Not only did the crew do an excellent job, but they allowed me to purchase new lights and shutters which they put up at no additional cost to me.

We have been very happy with the installation of your high-efficiency windows with interior mullions. We have had many compliments on both the look and workmanship of the windows and installation. The windows did perform as you indicated they would: we estimate that we have saved about 30% on our winter utility bills. That is after the run-up of the price of natural gas over the last several winters. We are extremely happy with the windows.
By the way, you mentioned the reduction of air infiltration from the outside. The new windows have eliminated the draftiness with our home; they keep the warm air in and the cold air out.
Finally, your conversion of our porch to maintenance free vinyl has also been a real plus. It is very attractive and easy to maintain compared to the old wood material. Several of our neighbors have given us very positive feedback on both the window and porch jobs.
Overall we were very impressed with the speed and quality of the work that BNW did for us and would recommend your firm to anyone.

I BOUGHT AN OLDER HOME IN 2004 THAT HAD THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS---I COULD BARELY OPEN ANY OF THEM, AND SOMETIMES THEY WOULD GET STUCK SO I HAD TO BEAT ON THEM TO GET THEM TO CLOSE. IN THE WINTERTIME I COULD FEEL THE COLD AIR COMING THROUGH, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE STORM WINDOWS CLOSED. THE FOLLOWING SPRING I DECIDED THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY WINDOWS AND GOT A FEW ESTIMATES. I DECIDED TO GO WITH BNW BECAUSE BRUCE IS A VERY HONEST AND SINCERE PERSON TO DEAL WITH. THERE WAS NO PRESSURE TO BUY THE WINDOWS WHEN HE CAME TO TALK TO ME ABOUT THEM, AND WHEN I DID DECIDE TO GET THEM, HE HELPED ME FIND A COMPANY TO FINANCE THEM. THEY CAME TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND JERRY (THE GUY WHO PUT THE WINDOWS IN) DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE TRIM WORK WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO DO JUST BECAUSE OF THE WAY MY HOUSE WAS ALREADY SIDED, BUT HE WORKED WONDERS AND MY HOUSE NOW LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER FROM THE OUTSIDE. MY NEIGHBOR WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY THE WINDOWS CHANGED THE APPREARANCE OF MY HOME THAT SHE BOUGHT SOME FROM BNW TOO. NOT ONLY DO THEY LOOK GOOD, BUT THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE TEMPERATURE IN MY HOUSE---IN THE WINTER THE HEAT STAYS IN, AND IN THE SUMMER IT IS MUCH COOLER INSIDE THAN THE FIRST YEAR I LIVED HERE. I just had to write this letter to you because I just can't say how excited I am about my windows. I had my windows put in April of this year and from the time I picked the phone up and called BNW to come out and give me an estimate it has been nothing but a wonderful experience. The salesperson was kind and attentative. He did not try to sell me anything that I did not want. The installer he was just wonderful and the job he did was fantistic. The windows he installed along with the trim work "OUTSTANDING". You would never know he was there the clean up job he did was the best I have ever seen. The owner I can't say enough about him. He very nice,polite and courteaous. I have heard horror stories from friends about their windows but all I can tell them that my experience was "WONDERFUL, JUST WONDERFUL".

This is just a quick note to thank you for the wonderful job everyone did on our house. The casement windows, vinyl siding with the attractive gable vent, and new gutters look great. But the best part is that I've already seen a reduction in my electric bill - the house is so much more energy efficient.
